Gemini 3.0: Leak Suggests an October 22 Launch

Google's new artificial intelligence model, known as Gemini 3.0, could be unveiled as early as October 22, 2025. This information comes from a leaked internal calendar that appeared on social media. The image was shared by Mark Kretschmann on the X platform and shows a timeline with milestones, including testing and the announcement. According to this source, the model may not become available immediately upon its announcement, as suggested by internal notes.

A skeptical view of the leak

Andrew Romero of 9to5Google notes that the image looks suspicious and lacks a clear digital footprint. Google usually keeps such information under wraps, so the leak could be fake. Nevertheless, Gemini 3.0 is expected to arrive soon, as the current Gemini 2.5 Pro model was released in March 2025 and offers advanced features such as complex post-training operations.

What can we expect from the new model?

In an overview of Google's plans for 2025, Damien Wilde mentions that Gemini 3.0 could build on the experimental 2.0 version, which is only now being rolled out more widely. Speculation on YouTube and social media points to features such as Agent Mode or Deep Think, with better integration into Chrome, Android, and Workspace. However, Google has not confirmed these details, and they remain hearsay.

Google's official sources are currently focused on improvements to Gemini 2.5 Flash, with no mention of 3.0. The leak comes at a time when Google is expanding AI into areas such as robotics with Gemini Robotics 1.5. Experts advise treating these reports with caution until an official blog post or changelog is released.
