Anthropic Secures a Massive $13 Billion Investment, Sending Its Valuation Soaring!

Anthropic has just completed its Series F funding round, raising a staggering $13 billion (CZK 301.6 billion). This amount pushed the company's total valuation to $183 billion (CZK 4.246 trillion). The funding was led by ICONIQ, together with Fidelity Management & Research Company and Lightspeed Venture Partners. This success comes just six months after the previous round in March, when Anthropic raised $3.5 billion (CZK 81.2 billion) at a valuation of $61.5 billion (CZK 1.427 trillion). Such an increase in value is truly remarkable and underscores how quickly the company is growing.

Explosive Growth in Revenue and Customers

Anthropic is experiencing unprecedented growth. At the beginning of 2025, the company had annual revenue of around $1 billion (CZK 23.2 billion). By August 2025, this figure had climbed to more than $5 billion (CZK 116 billion), making Anthropic one of the fastest-growing technology companies in history. This growth is driven primarily by customer trust—the company now serves more than 300,000 business clients. The number of large accounts, each generating more than $100,000 (CZK 2.32 million) in annual revenue, has increased almost sevenfold over the past year.

Claude Code's Major Success

A major role in this growth is played by Claude Code, an assistant designed for developers. Since its full launch in May 2025, the tool has generated more than $500 million (CZK 11.6 billion) in annual revenue. Its usage has increased tenfold over the past three months, demonstrating how popular it has become for both everyday tasks and complex projects compared with similar services offered by competitors. Anthropic also offers other products, such as an API for businesses and Pro and Max plans for individuals, which help integrate artificial intelligence into key applications without unnecessary complications.

Where the Investment Funds Are Going

Anthropic plans to use these new funds to expand capacity to meet growing demand from businesses, deepen its safety research, and support international expansion. The company focuses on safe, interpretable, and controllable artificial intelligence systems, which form the foundation of its success. With such rapid growth and investor support, Anthropic is a key player in artificial intelligence, where investment money continues to pour in despite talk of a possible bubble in the sector.
