Opera Neon: AI Browser Coming to Czechia With Agentic Features

Opera Neon: AI Browser Heads to the Czech Republic with Agentic Features

On May 28, 2025, Opera unveiled a brand-new web browser called Opera Neon, which the company describes as the world's first fully agentic AI browser. This groundbreaking product not only redefines how users interact with the internet but also promises availability in the Czech Republic through a subscription service.

What Can It Do?

Opera Neon represents a fundamental shift away from traditional web browsers by integrating advanced artificial intelligence directly into the core browsing experience. Rather than merely assisting users as they browse the web, Neon can actually complete complex tasks on their behalf. This agentic approach enables the browser not only to understand users' intentions but also to autonomously perform actions such as research, design, website creation, code snippet generation, report creation, and even game development—all through cloud-based AI agents. A key component of Opera Neon is an integrated system called Browser Operator, which allows users to chat, search for information, automate web tasks including filling out forms and making reservations, and interact with websites in context. For example, this AI agent can independently visit websites, make purchases, write emails, create interactive web applications, and allow them to be shared with other users. Opera Neon's user interface is organized around three main sidebar buttons, each representing a specific category of AI features. The Chat button opens a chatbot interface for internet searches, questions and answers, and website-related queries. The Do feature activates the Browser Operator AI agent for task automation, while Make allows users to generate games, websites, code, and other content directly from text prompts using cloud-based AI workflow systems with multitasking and offline capabilities.

Availability

Regarding availability in the Czech Republic, Opera has confirmed that Neon will also be available to Czech users through a global campaign. The company has opened a waiting list for interested users, including those in the Czech Republic, who can secure access to this innovative browser. Unlike Opera's traditional free browsers, Neon will be offered as a premium subscription, representing a new business model for the company. Opera has not yet announced an exact release date or pricing details, but the company confirms that the product is intended for more demanding users who want to take advantage of the most advanced AI features available on the market. This strategic move demonstrates Opera's intention to shift from providing basic browsing services to delivering premium AI-powered solutions.

As for language support, while Opera did not officially specify support for Czech in its initial Opera Neon announcements, the browser's Chat feature supports voice and text input in more than 50 languages. Given Opera's extensive language coverage and European roots (the company is headquartered in Norway), Czech is likely to be among the supported languages, especially considering the longstanding support for Czech in Opera's mainstream browsers.

Opera Neon attracts users with a modern, minimalist design featuring transparent windows and very few distracting buttons, creating an elegant user environment for advanced AI features. The browser is designed as a collaborative platform that overcomes language barriers and allows users to work with AI to complete tasks and create content without having to leave the browser.
