Claude Code Review is available on Team and Enterprise plans with three review depths

Anthropic has moved Claude Code Review from research preview to general availability for Claude Team and Enterprise customers. The tool automatically reviews new pull requests and posts its findings directly in GitHub. Teams can choose how extensively it examines changes in each repository.

Administrators handle setup through the GitHub App

Setup starts in Claude Code settings, where an administrator enables Code Review. They then install the GitHub App and select the repositories to include. Once configured, the tool processes new pull requests automatically and posts results in GitHub, without requiring individual developers to set it up.

Faster reviews and shorter comments

Anthropic says most reviews finish approximately three times faster than during the preview. Typical processing time has dropped from roughly 20 minutes to between 6 and 10 minutes.

Feedback from the preview has also led to shorter review comments. Each finding is designed to identify the problem, describe the condition that triggers it and suggest a fix in a few sentences.

Quick, Standard and Deep set the scope of analysis

Review depth can be configured separately for each repository. Quick is intended for routine repositories and rapid feedback, offering the lowest latency with lighter analysis. Standard, the default, balances speed and thoroughness for everyday development work.

Deep is intended for critical repositories or complex changes. It performs more extensive analysis, with longer review times and greater resource use. Anthropic says all three modes maintain its quality threshold; the setting determines how extensively the tool investigates a change.

Time-limited credits for eligible Enterprise customers

Eligible Enterprise organizations can claim $10,000 to $50,000 in Code Review credits, depending on their number of active Claude Code seats. The claim window runs from October 15, 2026, through January 15, 2027, at 23:59 UTC. Credits last for 30 days from the time they are claimed, or until the allocation is exhausted.

The credits cover only pull request reviews on github.com through the managed GitHub App. They do not cover self-hosted reviews through GitHub Actions or GitHub Enterprise Server. The /code-review and /ultrareview commands, along with other Claude Code activity, are also excluded.

Eligibility for the offer is narrower than access to the tool itself: Team customers can use the product but cannot claim the credits. Pro, Max and Free plans are also excluded, as are trial or canceled subscriptions and organizations that claimed the earlier free Code Review offer.

Organizations billed through resellers, connected to GitHub Enterprise Server or using GitHub Enterprise Cloud with data residency are ineligible. Eligible Enterprise subscriptions purchased through cloud marketplaces remain included. After 30 days or once the credits are exhausted, reviews return to normal billing under the organization’s spending limits.
