Boneyard Haunted House

Highway 360 and Division / 2921 East Division Street
Arlington, Texas
www.theboneyard.org

This haunted house is still evolving and gets better every year. It offers more than fifty different horror scenes, as well as food and games to keep you entertained all evening. Boneyard Haunted House combines the perfect blend of high-tech effects and good old-fashioned scare tactics with blood and gore. Boneyard features new scenes, animatronics, and movie-quality props. In 2006, Boneyard was entered into the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's largest walk-through haunted house. This attraction was over half a mile long. It beat the old record by 20%, bringing the world record back to Texas, but it is difficult to remain the biggest and best because haunted houses try to outdo one another every year.

Cutting Edge Haunted House

1701 East Lancaster Avenue
Fort Worth, Texas

Cutting Edge Haunted House is a commercial attraction considered to be the largest in the world. It was built in the late 1920s. According to the website: Cutting Edge Haunted House is a dark attraction filled with terrifying live actors, amazing special effects, and incredible monsters. Celebrating its new Guinness World Record, this intense, modern, multi-story, multi-themed haunted attraction is widely regarded as one of the best in the country, packed with chilling detail and incredible scares. Located in a century-old abandoned meatpacking plant in the area of Fort Worth historically known as “Hell's Half Acre,” Cutting Edge Haunted House is built on a foundation of fear. The Wild West meat-processing equipment is still in use, but now serves as a two-story human-processing area. Realistic-looking human mannequins are hoisted to the second floor and go through the entire meat-processing procedure until the conveyor system brings the slaughtered corpses back to the first floor. The old meatpacking plant in downtown Fort Worth is a great setting for the fantastic special effects our loyal customers expect. It takes visitors an average of 55 minutes to explore Cutting Edge Haunted House. The walk-through is filled with terrifyingly realistic props.
